Do you love cheese or know someone who also has an addiction to this great natural food. A food that has been made and sustained our diets globally for tens of thousands of years.
This is the perfect course for those people wishing to gain a better understanding of how cheese is made, why it tastes like it does and what to look out for when assessing your cheese purchases.
My course is fun and informative. I am passionate about cheese made both sustainably and ethically and we will discuss how beneficial real artisan cheese is for us as a wholesome food.
My background in cheese goes back over 20 years. My career prior to cheese was restaurants. Having worked and ran some of the countries most well-known and cherished establishments, quality cheese was never far away. Hence my complete addiction and reason to open the award-winning cheese and wine shop No2 in 2010 based in Wendover Bucks. Recently I came up with the idea of The Real Cheese Project and co- founded this in spring 2024 with a mission to champion and spread the word on proper cheese made well and with nature in mind.
What will I learn?
In this course, you’ll learn everything you need to know to take your Level 1 exam. Once you’ve passed it you will be an Academy of Cheese Associate. You will learn the correct way to taste cheese, how to present it, how it’s made and much, much more.
